Creative Solutions for you, your family and your pets!

Hi, I’m Lynne

Helping people and pets rediscover steady energy, calmer days, and vibrant living—one simple step at a time.
I love people, pets, and plants—and I don’t make anyone choose.

🌿 A Life of Guiding Others

For over three decades, I’ve walked alongside individuals and families searching for better answers.
Answers that feel grounded.
Answers that support the whole body.
Answers that fit real life.

🌼 A Moment That Changed Everything

There was a season when my body felt out of sync.
Hip pain showed up daily.
Walking up the stairs felt hard.
Sleep felt broken.
I pushed through for a while.
Hoped it would pass.
But deep down, something needed attention.
One conversation shifted everything.
I began to understand how hormone shifts affect the body in ways many people overlook.
Support for joints, cartilage, and recovery started to make more sense.
I made a few simple changes.
Nothing overwhelming.
Step by step, my body responded.
Strength returned.
Movement felt easier.
Rest came more naturally.
That experience didn’t just change how I felt.
It changed how I guide others.

🌿 What I See Every Day

Many people carry quiet signals in their bodies.
Low energy
Aching joints
Restless sleep
Emotional weight that never fully lifts
And often, they hear:
“Everything looks fine.”
But they don’t feel fine.
That gap matters.

🌿 How I Guide You

My approach blends:
Veterinary medicine
Human and animal aromatherapy
Somatic and emotional release work
Practical, real-life wellness strategies
I focus on simple steps.
Things that fit into daily life.
Start small and grow.

🌿 People and Pets

Healing rarely happens in isolation.
The people I work with often care deeply for their animals.
And those animals reflect stress, fear, and imbalance.
So we support both.
Because when one settles, the other often follows.

🌿 This Season of Life

This season brings change.
New questions.
New awareness.
New opportunities to care for the body in a different way.
Not decline.
Transition.

🌿 What You Can Expect

When we connect, everything stays simple.
We look at what’s happening now.
We choose a few meaningful next steps.
We build from there.
No overwhelm.
Just real life wellness.

🌿 A Gentle Invitation

If your body has been asking for something different…
If you feel ready for a calmer, more supported way forward…
I would love to walk alongside you.

How to Avoid the Vet!
Learn what to notice early—and when making the call matters.
Your horse seems a little off. Would you know what to check?

Maybe breakfast didn’t disappear as quickly as usual. Perhaps your horse seems quieter, moves differently, or just doesn’t look quite right.

What do you notice? What do you check? And what do you tell your veterinarian?

Join Dr. Lynne Wimmer for a welcoming, hands-on workshop with the horses at Iron Giants Draft Horse Rescue. We’ll explore one simple question:

What does normal look like for this horse?

Every horse develops patterns. The more familiar you become with those everyday patterns, the easier it becomes to notice when something changes. Together, we’ll practice observing the clues horses give us every day.

Know the pattern. Notice the change.
A horse doesn’t need to look dramatically ill before something deserves attention. Learning an individual horse’s everyday patterns gives you a meaningful point of comparison and helps you share useful information when you call your veterinarian.
What We’ll Explore

Learn what to notice, what to track, and how to describe changes clearly.

1
The Horse in Front of You
Vital signs • facial expression • comfort
2
What Goes In and What Comes Out
Appetite • hydration • digestion • urine • manure
3
How the Horse Moves and Looks
Movement • mobility • weight • body condition • skin • coat • feet • hooves
4
Patterns Around the Horse
Behavior • temperament • environment • seasonal changes
Learn Alongside the Horses

This workshop brings the information to life. You’ll practice locating vital signs, observe the horses, and work with a partner to explore body condition.

We’ll also look at hoof health and discuss everyday observations you can take back to your own barn.

When It’s Time to Call the Vet
We’ll explore which changes deserve attention and how to describe what you see. Knowing your horse’s usual patterns can help you gather and share useful information when you contact your veterinarian.
Plus: An Introduction to Raindrop for Horses

We’ll also introduce Raindrop for Horses, bringing together touch, essential oils, and thoughtful observation. Watch the technique and learn to pay attention to the horse’s response throughout the experience.

Watch the ears and eyes. Notice breathing, posture, movement, muscle tension, and willingness to participate. The horse gets a vote!

Today’s observations become tomorrow’s clues.
Come Curious. No Veterinary Training Needed.

This workshop focuses on observation, awareness, and communication. Come ready to look more closely, ask questions, and practice skills you can continue using with the horses in your care.

The workshop and Raindrop introduction complement your horse’s care; they do not replace veterinary attention when needed.

Take the Learning Back to Your Barn

You’ll receive printed handouts at the workshop to use during our activities and take home:

  • Normal hoof and horse conformation handouts
  • Horse Body Condition Tracking Sheet
  • Horse Body Condition Guide and Tracking Sheet
  • Horse Vital Signs and Exam, including hoof parts and labeling
Full-Color Guides to Download

The day after the workshop, watch your inbox for a thank-you message with links to download and print the full-color Do You Know Your Horse’s Normal? guide and Raindrop for Horses guide.

When Is It an Emergency? What Every Horse Caregiver Should Know

When Is It an Emergency? What Every Horse Caregiver Should Know

Hands-On Equine Emergency Preparedness Workshop • Benefiting Iron Giants
Something changed. Do you know what to do next?

Join Dr. Lynne Wimmer for a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help horse owners and caregivers recognize important changes, gather useful information, and communicate clearly with their veterinarian when something doesn’t look right.

We’ll move beyond simply memorizing a list of emergencies and practice something far more useful: looking at the horse in front of you, noticing what changed, and deciding what needs to happen next.

You Don’t Have to Diagnose the Problem
Your job as a horse caregiver isn’t to have all the answers. It’s to recognize when something has changed, gather useful observations, and know when to contact your veterinarian.
What We’ll Explore

We’ll work through real-world situations and practice the skills that help when normal suddenly changes.

1
Something Changed
Behavior • appetite • water intake • manure • posture • movement • signs of discomfort
2
Gather the Clues
Temperature • heart rate • respiration • mucous membranes • hydration • gut observations
3
Know When to Call
Colic signs • wounds • eye concerns • acute lameness • breathing changes • neurologic signs • other urgent changes
4
Make the Call Count
What your veterinarian needs to know • describing what you see • creating a timeline • recording instructions

Throughout the morning, we’ll work through realistic horse-care scenarios and practice asking three important questions: What do I notice? What else do I need to know? What do I do next?

Notice the change. Gather the clues. Know when to call.
It’s Cold. Is Your Horse Drinking?

Winter weather may change drinking, feeding, movement, and management patterns. We’ll pay special attention to water intake, hydration, appetite, manure, activity, and changes that may accompany digestive trouble or colic.

You’ll learn how the observations you already make around the barn can give your veterinarian valuable information when something changes.

Your $50 Registration Supports Iron Giants

Your $50 registration goes to Iron Giants Draft Horse Rescue and helps support the horses in their care.

Is Your Emergency Bucket Ready?
You’ll receive an Equine Emergency Bucket guide to help you prepare the supplies and important information you want ready before an emergency happens.

Come ready to observe, ask questions, handle emergency equipment, work through real-life scenarios—and leave better prepared for the unexpected.

A New Beginning: Your Past Doesn’t Define Your Future

A New Beginning: Your Past Doesn’t Define Your Future
What if a new beginning doesn’t require forgetting what happened? Michelle Simpson reflects on faith, healing, and why the past doesn’t get the final word.
What does a new beginning mean when the past still shapes how you see yourself and your future? Becoming new in Christ doesn’t require pretending painful experiences never happened or rushing through healing. It may begin with an honest question, a trusted conversation, or a small willingness to believe that yesterday doesn’t get the final word.

When Trauma Holds You Captive

When Trauma Holds You Captive
Emotional trauma doesn't announce itself loudly—it whispers through a tightness in your chest, sudden tears, and exhaustion that sleep can't fix. For years, you may have simply accepted this as normal, learning to survive. But surviving and thriving demand completely different things, and the shift between them begins with one simple practice: awareness. Reclaiming emotional freedom isn't about forgetting what happened; it's about teaching your nervous system that the threat has truly passed and that healing is possible. When you notice your patterns without judgment, understand where trauma lives in your body, and begin making conscious choices instead of reactive ones, something shifts—not overnight, but steadily,
Emotional trauma often lingers in quiet, persistent ways, surfacing as sudden tension, unexpected tears, or a fatigue that sleep never fully resolves. Over time these reactions can begin to feel ordinary, even when they quietly drain more energy than most people notice. Understanding how past experiences still shape what feels safe and how the body responds offers a different starting point—one that does not require forgetting or forcing anything away. Small shifts in awareness and practical support can create room to respond with more choice rather than old protective habits. What becomes possible when those patterns are met with honest curiosity instead of pressure?

Sometimes Healing Looks Like Unlearning

Sometimes Healing Looks Like Unlearning
Healing isn't about erasing the past—it's about recognizing what you learned to survive it and deciding whether those survival patterns still serve you today. Many of us carry protective habits, self-doubt, and emotional reactions long after the circumstances that created them have changed, wondering why we still struggle even when our lives look completely different now. What if the real work wasn't forcing yourself to "get over it," but gently asking a kinder question: what did I learn in order to survive that I'm finally ready to unlearn? This shift changes everything—from how you understand forgiveness and boundaries, to how you speak to yourself when old patterns show up unexpectedly, to the freedom of recognizing that your past doesn't have to write every chapter of your future.

Your Story Does Not End With What Happened to You

Your Story Does Not End With What Happened to You
Your past doesn't have to define your future—but getting there takes more than just moving on. This honest reflection explores what real healing looks like: not a single moment of breakthrough, but a gradual unraveling of beliefs learned in survival mode, the surprising difficulty of forgiving yourself, and the freedom that comes when you finally understand that what happened to you doesn't get to determine the rest of your life. If you've ever wondered whether triumph means pretending trauma never happened, or if you're still waiting to see how your own story could possibly turn into something meaningful, this post invites you into a conversation about the slow, necessary work of becoming who you're meant to be.

When You Don’t Feel Like God Is There

When You Don’t Feel Like God Is There
Have you ever felt like God went silent just when you needed Him most? Many of us know the ache of unanswered prayers, seasons that seem frozen in time, and questions that linger long after we've asked them. Yet sometimes when we pause long enough to look back over our own stories, we discover something we couldn't see while we were living through the pain: God was there all along, faithful in ways we didn't recognize in the moment. This reflection explores how looking backward at God's provision can anchor our faith forward, and why remembering what He's already brought us through may be exactly what we need today.

Can I Use Essential Oils on My Cat?

Can I Use Essential Oils on My Cat?
Most online discussions about essential oils and cats present a stark choice: safe or unsafe. The truth lives somewhere far more nuanced. What actually matters isn't whether an oil carries a universal label of danger, but rather the oil's quality, how it's diluted, how it's applied, and—most importantly—what your individual cat tells you through careful observation. Cats process many substances differently than other animals, which demands respect and attention, not fear. Learn how to evaluate quality, understand feline physiology, recognize when to proceed cautiously, and discover how to let your cat participate in the conversation about what supports its wellness.
